The PTA principally raise funds to assist the school to pay for items, facilities and equipment that are not automatically provided by the Local Education Authority budget. The PTA Committee is elected annually in October at the AGM and is responsible for organising a programme of events throughout the year. Bex Sinclair Hi I am Bex Sinclair and I am the ginger haired Lovington PTA Treasurer. My son Tom is in Year 1. You probably wont see much of me in school during the week as I work full-time, but my husband Ron is in school everyday and we try to support all the PTA events throughout the year.
We live in East Lydford, with Toby our Jack Russell, in a farmhouse that we are restoring at the same time which is a constant challenge! I work in Yeovil as Head of HR for Battens Solicitors. Ron is a chef but at present is working full time on renovating the house and developing the veggie patch!
I grew up in Hornblotton and my brother and I both went to Lovington School for many years in the days when there were only 27 pupils! It has played a big part in our lives and that of the community over the years. Therefore I, together with the rest of the PTA committee, am keen to find as many ways as possible of raising money for the school because we are so lucky to have it!

In my previous life I have worked at local Pre-School and I worked for many years for the Probation Service. I am from South Yorkshire I really do not need to say anymore do I?
